Concrete Grinding & Parkade Membrane Restoration

The City of Langford selected South Island Surfaces under the consultation of WSP Engineering to refinish a weathered and deteriorating parkade in the City.

An inspection of the parkade surface revealed that it had an old, failing membrane riddled with cracks and breaches to the finish. Our team fell upon the job with the full fury of our large 1400 lb concrete grinder. We then proceeded to chase out any visible cracks and filled with a flexible urethane waterproof sealant. This was followed up with a penetrating, protective,  water-repelling clear sealer.

This large parkade membrane resurfacing job was about 10,000 sq.ft and took 2 weeks to complete.
