Parking Deck Membrane Removal & Replacement
B.C ferries hired south island surfaces in the fall of 2019 to remove a old failing parking deck membrane near the upper level passenger drop off and parking area. The old parking membrane was delaminating and peeling off. One look at the wrecked surface easily revealed its age; it was way past its service life expectancy. We used a ride on floor scraper to remove the old coating and then proceeded to grind off any glue or residue left behind. Preparation is the most important part of any job, and we took this extra seriously.
We will be installing a new parking deck coating for B.C ferries in the spring of 2020 and look forward to working with them again!
The project was approximately 7000sq.ft and took 4 days to complete the demo stage.
